Picture this- do before
Here is one thing we wish we had done right at the start of the program.
Get out the camera. Take some pictures. Do a number of views:
• Full length
• Close up- shirt off
• Side view
• Portrait- close in on your face
If using a digital camera, save them on your hard drive. If not using a
digital camera, then make some prints.
Whichever camera you use, keep the pictures handy as before pictures.
Taking the pictures is also a good “mind-game” too:
• You are telling yourself that this is your peak. It isn’t going to get any
heavier than it is at this point.
• You are also telling your subconscious that something important is going to
be taking place here. You are committed to making a change. You don’t want to be
taking “before” shots without a good reason.
Want to do even more with pictures for the mental image? Print out an extra
copy- then throw the extra copy in the trash or burn it. This is way of also
telling your brain that the old you is out the window.
So get the camera rolling- good things are about to happen.
